Rebuilt truck after engine fire

Early in July, I had a fuel leak cause an engine compartment fire on my 1977 F-250 truck with a 460 engine. I decided to rebuild the truck, but I had no idea how hard it would be to find parts that fit my truck. The Ford dealer does not carry a wiring harness, air conditioner hoses, etc. I am proud to say that I have found most of the parts needed at salvage yards and my truck runs again. With cold a/c, too!

Thanks for the thumbs up! Like the saying goes, "The best never rest!" I found a 1978 Ford F-250 in a salvage yard and most of the parts were really cheap. The wiring harness only cost me $100. This included every wire on the truck, ignition module, and fuse box. Running the wires was a real chore, but I am proud of the result. Time to let my 460 spin the rear tires again!
