U-Joints
I want something strong but not really after market.
Also while I'm at it can I get rid of the double cardan drive shaft? What will I need to do and what are the negative points of this?
1310 - 1/2 tons
1330 - 3/4 ton
1350 - 1 ton
1410 - 1.5 ton
1480 - 2.5 ton
thats just a general guideline, ford didn't follow it to a T so nothing is definite

a double cardan driveshaft is a standard ujoint configuration with one joint per end. a constant velocity double cardan joint (CV joint) has 2 u-joints per CV collar. cv joints are nice cause they help out with serious angles. but if everything is nice and straight go for it

I'm a little slow at times.
Great sites I plan on measureing mine this weekend. I beleive what I have now are the 1310. I have heard a few people say that the 79 Bronco came with the 1330. Which I was given the front and rear shafts for a 79 minus part of the cv joint. So all I might need are the flanges.
