put a 95 engine in a 92.. now problems

I cant get my truck to run right.. I called summit and the guy told me it was the cam.. Yes I changed my firing order.. He said the 95 cam wouldn't work with SD.. How hard is it to switch to mass air? can I just buy the computer and mass air out of a 95 f-150 and put it on?

ohh ya the 95 motor was out of a mustang

You should be able to do that okay. I think you'll need the engine wiring harness as well, since your truck with the SD system batch fires the injectors, and Mass Air sequentially fires them. You'll also need the Mass Air harness, which connects the MAF meter to the computer.

I take it that that's a real aggressive cam in the '95 'stang motor?

Yeah trucks have the '351w' firing order. Just change the cam or change the harness and the computer. You need to see what trans you have before switching to MAF if you go that route. The E4OD (push button on the dash) is the pita to swap cause the computer controls the trans and the Mustang computer won't do that. Easier to just swap cams and maybe step-up a little in size at the same time

Switching to Mass Air is great, but can be fairly expensive, and I submit that the cam may not be your real problem. I suggest getting all of the tuning bugs out first, which may entail getting some professional help. I'm running a pretty aggressive cam with SD, one of the few around here it seems, and I can tell you that SD can handle cams other than bone stock. People talk about Summit, but while they may have cool stuff and OK pricing, I have never had any real help calling them, especially about truck mods...
