I've looked into raising my front end of my 95 F-150 with springs. But I'd rather use the poly spacers. I can't seem to be able to find if anyone makes them for this truck. Any ideas?
I think Daystar spacers are the way to go. I just installed them and was VERY happy with them. You are guaranteed 2" lift (you never know with new coil springs), and the ride doesn't change at all.
Now, it's not that easy. You will more then likely have an alignment problem after you install them. The truck MUST be aligned after installing them, and they will have to install large cams- it's going to land you around $200 for the alignment.
2wd or 4wd being considered? Did you let the suspension hang at full droop to make sure the shock was long enough to reach that far?
~always let the suspension fully extend and double check to make sure the shocks are long enough. You don't want to find out the hard way that they don't really fit...IE ripping the shock off the truck
It's those dang alignment cams. The alignment was like $80 or so, they really jacked me on the cams. If you shop around, you can probably get it all settled for $150, but I wouldn't expect any cheaper then that.
