92 injector question

92 injector question

Hi again,I have one of my injectors leaking fuel where the hard line connects to the injector.I tried to snug it up but still leaks,I went to napa to see if there was o ring kit but they didn't list one.Is there a o ring are a washer to seal it. Thanks craig

The hard line may only need to be realigned on the injector. I would loosen the line nut completely from the injector, then align the line so you can install the nut all the way by fingers only. Then tighten to 22ftlbs while holding the line steady. If the line is cracked above the nut it will leak above the nut and they are not repairable. If it leaks below the nut it is usually the orings.

New lines and oring kits can be obtained rather cheaply from .........

I just ordered a set from those folks yesterday. 'Bout the cheapest I could find on the web. Since I'm changing oput my ipump and my injectors at the same time, I also ordered the pump kit. Some of the parts aren't needed, but for the price, it was still a deal. Plus, when I do the job, I won't have to stop and go chase parts. I'll have everything I need right in front of me.

Thanks , I will try to redo the line and order some new o-rings thanks for the help Craig
