Drive Shaft !!!
okay, I applied the Ford lubricant on the slip joint shaft to eliminate the clunk while slowly acceleralting. thing is, I cannot move the drive shaft forward or back, it's locked up!! I'm 6.2" 200 lbs and I cannot move this drive Shaft now after lubrication.

hmmm, you might have put to much lube on the splines and that caused kind of a suction effect. probably gonna have to pull on it until the vein in your head is ready to pop. once you can move it slide it back together and excess lube should squirt out. good luck, im 6'4 250 maybe the both of us could get it

Help me on this one, I'm a bit confused as to how to lube the shaft. I have a clunk coming from my '02 CC 4x4, and a few posts ago they mentioned lubing the front shaft, but I climbed under, and the front shaft is sealed with a boot. I might be way off on this one, but is the clunk comnig from from the non lubed shaft, and am I missing something?

That's why it's clunking. No lube. The clunk you here is the splines banging against each other under load. Pull the slip shaft and lub it up. Good idea to do it every 3 - 4 oil changes. Or just deal with the clunk.
