Does this sound right?
Filled up a few days ago, and filled back up again today.
I have a 1991 F250 with a 460. Ended up getting ~9 MPG.
Keep in mind, not to much city driving mostly driving at about 55 MPH 1.5k RPM.
E4OD Tranny. I have headers, exhaust, intake. My driving was also pretty good. Never really got on the gas much.
I gave it a tune up when I did the headers. Replaced plugs, ect.

9 mpg is about right. Remember, you're feeding 7.5L of engine. My 302 gets about 10.5 mpg (stock 3.55 gears and 35" tires), so that's not that bad.

Give it a couple of fill-ups to get a good average. Some pumps cut off sooner than others so there could have been less in on you initial fill and more in on your last one. The number sounds pretty close though.
