Front wheel bearing replacement
I need to replace the front wheel bearings in a 1993 Ford F350 pickup w/4 wheel drive and I want to see a diagram of the proceedure. Is there somewhere I can get something like this on the internet?

Search these forums for info., but it is not difficult. Lift brake caliper away, remove freewheel mechanism if any, then using four prong wrench remove wheel bearing lock nut and remove hub. You can then knock out old outter bearing races and tap in new and install hub with new inner races. Tighted lock nut untill all play in hub just disappears having packed new bearings with grease. Nothing to it.

I would pass on replacing the races unless they are blued, scarred, showing copper, or otherwise damaged. If they are worn, then at least they wear evenly. Any slack is removed when the spindle nuts are tightened. If you replace the races, you run the risk of screwing them up during install (it's easy to do) and then you have to do the job all over again.
