Hello to all
My consultation:
I am to buy a motor V8; the salesperson says that it is 390gt4v year '68.
the codes of the block: C•4•A•E•6•0•1•5•A and Manifold C•8•A•E•9•4•2•5•F. They are the only data that I have.
Partners of the forum affirmed that it can be a 427 from '64, others that if it is a 390, and also a 352.
That the discussion begins!
Well, did you notice if there were cross bolts in lower skirt area? This will quickly determine if it's a 427. There were very, very few that weren't so that would be a give-away that it is/is not a 427. Of course anyone could cross bolt any FE, so that does not guarantee either.
hello to all..
This is my letter of gratefulness,
for three of the partners of the forum, Kurt, G, Russ
Thank you for all the information and attention that you have offered me.
Since here in Uruguay nobody knows anything about motors V8.
They have helped in the long search of the ideal motor for my stang.
Admin excuses, this letter is not for engines, but I should thank to the forum and the members.
I will always be you grateful, Erwin
