Shimmy and shake
I got my 74 Highboy home finally. Has any one had their truck have extreme shimmy and shake at 35 mph and then come out of it at 45 and up? What can I do to correct this?

try balancing your front tires first off,if that doesnt help,you will need to start looking for worn steering parts.-billy

I dont know if yours is a 4x4...but if it is, check the track bar to see if its tight. Had same problem on mine and as soon as i torqued the bolts problem went away. Make sure bushings are in good shape too. Would be a good idea to upgrade to polyurethane.

A combination of bad tread and bad shocks will get it squigly too.

Man, I am a happy man today!! It was a bent rim. It was very smooth with different rims and tires.
