No thanks to Diablosports tech dept and a BIG thanks to SonicBlueF350. I emailed tech on Monday requesting the r42 update and finally got a response today(Wed). Advised me to call them while in my truck w/ my Predator ready to be hooked up, I guess to record the CALID. I was on hold for 15 minutes while listening to that prerecorded junk about getting answers from their FAQ's and also that little comment about not hanging up as it goes by the order of received calls. Well I finally think I've gotten thru but NO its the operator who puts me back in the loop at the back of the line. Meanwhile my Nextel battery croaks and I have to hang up! Call back from my office line to complain and she gets me to a tech immediately but NO, its his voicemail. I leave my # and never hear anything. Needless to say I feel this is less than satisfactory customer service as I also have the SC1704 and their tech # is listed on their website and someone answers w/in a couple of rings. Granted I had to mail the unit back to SC but at least they readily talked to me and directed me as what to do. Oh well, enough belly aching. Thanks to SBF350 emailing me the r42 I am flying once again!

Hey guys. I'm having same problem. Is there any way some could email me the r42? Do you guys have the U7160(03-04 Predator) or U7165(03-05 Predator)? Thanks.
Thanks guys for the help. Got the r42 and it works again. Tranny shifting seems to be better. Did they add some tranny tuning in there? Anyways, thanks all around and to FTE.
Here is the link to my webspace that has the file, it's zipped so you will need to unzip it to get the file. If someone could let me know if it works I will keep it up for a while at least until Diablo posts it up.
