I use a Midwest pet barrier that I purchased from Petco. I had to purchase the extension as well, so now it is a 6-bar barrier, and works great with or without the 3rd bench. Make sure to use the long legs, not the short ones.
My bug deflector is an AVS high profile superguard wraparound model. Picked it up from JC Whitney. Search around on the internet for some online coupons, and you'll save a bit of money on it. Good fit, excellent finish. Saves the front lip of my hood from collecting rock chips!!

Bug guard
I bought a lund bug guard at Fleet Farm for my 2005 X, cost about $38.00. The 02 to 04 model will fit the 05. Lund has never gotten around to updating the sticker on the box. What is really nice is that all the holes are there for the screws so their is no drilling required. Took me about 15 minutes to install.
