F-450 emblems

F-450 emblems
I have an 04 F-250 and i want to put all F-450 emblems on it but they dont make an F-450 pickup so there is no tailgate emblems available, does anyone know if you can use the fender ones on the tailgate

I wish FORD used just VT-365 under the F series badge.
I at least want to put the international on my front fender.

link wouldn't work but as for international emblems i put one on each side in front of (behind on drivers side) the PS badge on the door. Why?...because dodge has cummins badges...i had to put them on the door because the internation badges come off the front of their new truck and they are flat and that was the flatest place i could place them since i had brand new badges...if you get used ones (use dental floss of fishing line) the 3M tape has differnt thickness then you might be able to put it somewhere less flat....I know "we don't need no stinking badges!"

I want to start off by saying that I honestly don't want to offend anyone here. I just want to state an opinion. My truck has F450 badges on it. That is because it is an F450. Kinda earned the right to have them. Putting F450 badges on a F250 is akin to a cowboy wearing a trophy belt buckle that he didn't win. It rubs me the wrong way.

I agree I think putting F-450 badges on would look a little weird but I must admit I like the idea of having a VT-365 badge instead of the powerstroke badge just a little different than what everyone has and I guess the engine even being run by FORD it was made by International so it's not a lie to have that on the side of my F-350

Just kidding I really like mine so far it has only been 4,000 + miles with Diesel Kleen at every fill up so time will tell.

Nothing wrong with the VT365 International or something if that's in fact what our motor is. Maybe not as original as it was, but... Then again, it's your truck. If you like the F450 badge, go with it. You're the one driving it.

Wow, people seem kind of harsh here. I understand it is OK for everyone to have their opinion though. I had put F350 emblems on my 01 7.3 F250 just because. I have just purchased a 05 F250 and am thinking about putting F550 emblems, just because. I wish I had an answer to the original question on the tailgate emblem, but I don't have one. I would think you should be able to use the fender emblem though.
