Here is a wierd no start problem
1989 Ford F250 7.3 liter ATS Diesel. Left school to go to dorms yesterday, the truck started absolutely normal, it started fine, got there and about 25 minutes later i decided to leave to go to a friends house. Truck wouldnt even consider starting. It cranked cranked and cranked, i bled the fuel and it was perfect, no leaks etc. Cranked it cranked it and poured ice cold water on the IP but this still didnt help, i used a shot of ether and it did nothing but make the motor crank faster. The glow plugs were cycling as the should. So i was pissed, and went to bed, i come out this morning at 8 am and the thing cranked twice and it fired right up, turned it on and off a few times and it worked perfect. Explain this one out for me guys.
