when youput the BTM on do you eliminate the cat at the same time? Also will any sounds clips on how this will sound compared to a straight pipe.....gonna be using a Diablo predator programmer as well.
Thanks
I put on the Walker BTM, cat delete and DP at the same time. I wish I had just bought a complete 4" exhaust instead, because it was a pain getting the cat off then getting the exhaust to line up correctly.
The SCMT is a good piece, I think you'll like it. I wasn't terribly impressed with the sound of the BTM, it was kind of wheezy. I liked the straight pipe a lot better.
Obviously the sound you want is up to your own taste, because I like the way the BTM and Cat delete sound. But then again, I haven't really listened to a straight pipe though. But from stock to BTM, I am very happy
I have the BTM and the SCMT and love them both. BTM has a good sound, but not too loud. SCMT adds great power, but not so much that I worry about damage to the motor. EGT's stay in check.
I never had a cat but really like my BTM. I tried the straight pipe but it just wasnt what I was wanting. To me the BTM has a nice rumble at idle and lets you hear the turbo whistle more.
