I had a inflatable, she was 5' 4" weight of 322# and ran around about 40 knots, the mouth that is. Oops, I was talking about the 'ex wife not boats.
I have a Tass motor 1 1/2 hp weight of 12 pounds. I have a neighbor who has a inflatable with motor, he purchased it but dosen't use it.
.....=o&o>.....
I had looked at Zodiacs some time ago and was very impressed with them. The only thing that didn't impress me was the price. But, you do get what you pay for and you'll be getting a top notch inflatable with a Zodiac. Since the price was out of my reach, I had no choice but to pass.
I bought one of these a while back for $80. It turned out to be a lot nicer than I expected but I've only gotten to use it a couple times. I don't have a motor for it yet so I get my exercise. It has a battery bag to keep the battery in place and inflatable seats too. You can get the on ebay under the brand name "Seahawk". They're not top of the line but they're still pretty nice and fairly inexpensive.

Yea, tell me about the price.
I paid $995.00 plus tacks (tax) for my Avon R310 and that was is 1984.
They've shot up to about $1800.00 now for somewhat the same boat.
Bought the Honda 10 hp outboard for it 6 months later (got tired of rowing).
That Honda set me back $1200.00.
But it's something you keep and pass along to your kin folks, if they deserve it.
Had an 11 foot Sevylor inflatable with a 5hp electric trolling motor and the custom plates to give it a hard wood floor. It was heavy and hard to get romt he truck to the lake (and took forever to blow up) but it was fun for the 2 summers we had it before selling it for a real boat. I think the whole setup cost me in the neighborhood of $850.

Luckily my Avon came with a foot pump.
Kinda looks like a bellows type you see at a blacksmith shop.
Takes about 5-7 minutes to inflate both chambers and keel.
It also has a wooden transom and a 3 piece wooden floor.
Max H.P. I can put on it is 10. Max load is around 900 lbs.
Only problem is that top speed with me in it is only about 20 M.P.H.
I had a Zodiac Pro 530 17 ft with a Johnson 90hp thing really hauled a$$ in my line of work I drive inflatables on a daily basis. Coast Guard. We have some really kick a$$ boats that really rip. and the best part is when I bring it back I dont have to pay the fuel bill
