It’s getting to the Fall season here in New England, which means the trees will soon light up. As I sit here on my deck looking at all the trees on my property, I’m thinking, “Boy, those people that live in an area with no trees, or the leaves just fall off, are really missing something”! So I thought I would do something nice for those folks and give them the opportunity to adopt a tree. For a nominal fee, you will get a picture of your tree in full Fall color, a brass name plate attached to said tree, and enjoy the warm-fuzzy of knowing that your dollars are supporting that spectacular work of Nature! You may make unannounced visits to hug your tree anytime you wish. Your contribution will cover watering, fertilizing, pruning, and MOST important, the constant raking of those darned leaves!
There are only 32 trees available, so act NOW!!
I'd like to add all my trees to that offer. In fact, if you want to come up here and rake those darned leaves yourself, I'll offer a discount on the adoption fee.
Man we just had some trees cut down in the back yard stupid leaves all in the pool!!!! Good for oxygen suck when leaves fall! good thing pine trees pineneedles fall and don't blow around leaves blow all over earth and back!!!
All of you with a balcony, or a place in your yard:
GET YOUR OWN DAMN TREE! I did...
If I ever once find a Blue Spruce offerred as a Live Christmas tree, it will recieve a revered space in my front lawn. I will raise it in a bucket until it is ready to transplant.
Many of you have your own choice of tree - SO PICK ONE! Get it, bring it home, learn and teach your kids with it. Trees are essential to our biosphere, so are people who burn gasoline, drive to work everyday, and come home with their limited dollars to support various things.
When I lived with my Mom after high school - we grew a grapefruit tree on a seventh floor porch in Maryland.
DO IT YOURSELF, damnit...
And if you pick one good for your area - you can transplant it in the country if it reaches a point where you can't keep it at home anymore...
Tree-hugger? Yeah right...
Wolves can't live without woods to run in.

I can offer pictures of trees where you can select the tree you want cut down. I'll cut it down and log it out. I'll even throw in the pictures of it being split (by hand) and burning it in the stove.
There is no better heat than a log on the fire. Good thing trees are a renewable resource!
I have two huge Silver Maples in that group of 5 trees and one of the others is an Elm. You can log away and burn to your hearts content. Silver Maple burns fast tho.
heheheh, i got a lawnmower with a "mulcher" on it. basically the port the grass shoots out of it blocked, and the grass gets diced up into little pieces. I tend to use it for "rakeing" the leaves! Saves time, which i can spend on FTE, my back, and the mower gets good gas mileage too!
