Hey guys, I have looked every where today (surfing the net at work :P) and can not find much info on this other then pictures. I just bought a black on black 05 brand new super cab Lariat. I am really interested in doing the Mark LT conversion to it. As far asI can tell the only difference is the grill, door/tailgate handle's, emblems, drivers air bag, and the rear tail lights (and maybe the tail gate?). Does any one have the part number on the grill or any of the other item's? I read back about 20 pages in the forums and didn't see any topics reguarding this. I'm thinking about doing the conversion, then adding some nice 20" chrome wheels with some all terrain type tires on them with the front end leveling kit on it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks Doc.
P.S. I have a hook up on the part's and can look up the part numbers and find out dealer cost's and such but need the part numbers :\
I think its still too soon to be seeing this conversion yet. It might be a while coming, since the LT sales numbers are no where near the F150s. Its just a matter of how many are out there. I hope someone can help answer it for you.
Doctor7474, I have an all black 04 Lariat 4x4 and have started transforming it to look like the Lincoln Mark LT. I am only doing it because I love chrome. So far I have replaced my gold color grille with the Lincoln Mark LT chrome waterfall grille. I used my chrome grille surround instead of the painted surround that comes with the Lincoln grille. I also replaced my aluminum rims with 18x8 Lincoln Mark LT premium 8 spoke chrome rims along with Michelin 275/65R18 Michelin Pilot LTX tires. I will not install the Mark LT tailgate because I do not care for the tail lights or reflectors etc. I think I will have my Ford embems removed and those areas filled and smoothed. I think I would like a plain tailgate. If you are interested in doing something like this you can get the grille from the Lincoln/Mercury Parts Dept. $296. By the way this Lincoln grille is not a direct replacement for your Ford. It takes some modifications for a perfect fit. I got my takeoff chrome wheels and Michelin's off ebay. That could run $900-$1000 with shipping. I had to slow down spending after rims, tires, Volant CAI, Corsa Exhaust, ARE lid w/spoiler and LED, bedliner, mud flaps, chrome license plate surrounds, cargo bars (dividers), new dedicated hydralic jack and jack stands, new Craftsman breaker bar, Mr Clean system and the list goes on and on. I will probably do more after we get through Christmas and pay our supposedly huge heat bills this winter. Good Luck and if you have any questions, let me know.
To each his own, but if I had the Lincoln I would be removing the chrome side panels. I bet there will be a market for panels being removed from these trucks out there.
I think the F150 is a much cleaner look than the LT.
babock, Yeh, I would not install the Lincoln Mark LT chrome side panels either. I do not care for all the extra tail lights on the Lincoln Mark LT tailgate either. I like a nice clean look. I even like blackwall tires with chrome wheels . With too much stuff your truck could look like you went to AutoZone Parts and slapped a bunch of junk on it. Good Luck!
He's done a nice job, he's a good guy and will probably help with most numbers. He posts as

In another forum. I don't think he posts here.
I considered doing the LT to mine, but the wife was against it. Didn't want to have a truck that 'misrepresented' itself.
Still like the look though...
Chris
