IFS Strength Question....Searched no help

I have looked for over 1 hour and have not found any information on the IFS in 97 f150's 4X4

How strong are they what size tire will the take with no problems .

When and Why do they break? If you flex them hard are they more prone to
breakage.

What is the IFS called

example the TTB is either Dana 28 or 35 for the rangers

The TTB in the f-150's is a dana 44. I"m not 100% sure but I believe the ifs in the newer fords is fords own 8.8. Ring gear size anywho.

Thanks....Do you know how strong it is and what size tire you can run before you start ripping it all to shreads.
