air bag light
hey guys,
washed the truck 3 days ago and air bag light came on. flashes at first then comes on and stays on.
plugged in my evolution and checked codes: nothing
unplugged both batteries and let truck sit: no change
turned passenger airbag on and off and left on: no change
hate to take it to the dealer and spend the money if i don't have to.
any ideas on what i can check to make it go out?? all i did was wash the truck, like i have a hundred times before. i'm guessing a sensor got wet, but can i do anything??

When you turn it on count the flashed. It will flash maybe twice and then pause and then flash 3 times. That is the code 23 look up the code and it will tell you what it wrong. Just google it or look here and you will find something.

this is what i found: 4 blinks then 6 blinks. googled it and found this on ford truck world website. thanks a million for the help. i'll take a look at it tomorrow. maybe hit it with the high pressure hose or something when cleaning behind front bumper.
