I bought a Draw-Tite new off of Ebay. The guy sells them with a 2" drop hitch and pin. I like this one because it is tube style that bolts directly up to existing holes with no drilling and is hidden behind the bumper. I think the whole order, shipping and all was $125.00.

my 97 mountaineer was a simple bolt on, it's a Draw-Tite I got from etrailer.com
Looks like they have four different ones that are direct bolt on when I put in 96 Ford Explorer into their selector guide.
