Latest Ford Recall

Has anyone been able to get the recall done yet? I just talked to the service department at my local dealer and they told me that Ford wouldn't have the parts available until late October/early November, but if I brought it in they would disconnect the CC until it could be fixed.

I thought I heard of people on here getting it fixed. Did they truely fix it or just disconnect it?

It's a two-step. the disconnect comes first, then the part install. If anyone did have the part replaced prior to this recall, it'll have to be done again (redesigned part)
