Sending unit delay?
My '02 F350 V10 started acting up on me Sunday. I fueled up from 1/4 tank, and when I cranked her over, the needle didn't move. Over the course of 30 miles, the needle VERY slowly crept up to full..... but now I am a little paranoid about my sender going kaput or hanging up. Anyone else experienced this before, and if so, what did you have to do to solve the issue? Thanks!

Nope, engine off, key in my pocket..... had a lot of busted fuel gauges on my 80's & 90's F-series, so I am always leery when something doesn't seem kosher. But this one is new to me, and seemed excessively slow.... It seems to be working normally now (at least the needle seems to be dropping at the normal rate), but I am still keeping the trip odometer displayed for a few tanks of fuel, just in case........ I too had the same problem with my 02 F-350. While on a 800 mile trip with my 5er fueled up from about a 1/4 of a tank and did the same thing. The gauge moved very slow and trip meter on roof did not change stayed at 178 miles to empty. When stopped for fuel again everything went back to normal and had no other problems since.
