I am going to buying a new Powerstroke to replace my 7.3 NA and was wondering what everyone's input was on the pos and negs of the different Powerstroke engines. Thanks in advance.
That silly ole 6-oh's got too much computery-stuff on it, its just plain silly. They don't run right and they blow up and all sortsa other stuff. They outta to slap a REAL diesel in them like a 12 valve Cummins or a Detroit an get rid of all that computer stuff. They don't make no torque down low like a diesels supposed to. There gettin rid of the hunka crap next year, thats how bad they are!

If you have the money to get a new one I would go with the 6.0. I have a 7.3 I purchased New in 01 and I have 2 6.0s that I have had no problems with either!!
7.3 L all the way. my dad has the 6.0 L and i can out tow him easily. i dont know if this is dofferent for others, but after driving both, my engine just seems to be a monster compared to his. hope htis helps

Not very likely. I've had both and the only way the 7.3 has more is if you strap a 5" block under the gas pedal of the 6.0. I just love the 7.3 hero stories.
