question about sensors

ive written before about installing a cold air intake in my 1995 F-150, i found a twin cone setup that i think i want to try, it will eliminate the air box completley, i was curious about what that will do to the sensors that i will be bypassing?

You can't bypass the MAF sensor. Its needed. I have a twin cone setup, but mines a 93 and doesnt have a MAF setup.

Are you sure he has mass air? Some 95's did, some didn't.

As long as you don't bypass the MAF sensor, you'll be fine.

yeah, its got an air sensor, i figured that would be a problem. thats the one thing thats holding me back from putting in a cone, i cant find out what to do with the sensor, thanks for the advice

You can put a single cone filter on the mass air trucks. They make an adapter that bolts to the air meter and will let you clamp the air filter to it. You only need a single air filter.
