Shimming the Regulator??
I remember reading somewhere here, but can't find it. Are owners shimming the fuel pressure regulator? And if so, what is it doing? (I immagine it ups the fuel pressure)

Try doing a search of "shimming", advanced search of only the 7.3L diesel area. If my memory serves me right, shimming the regulator doesn't do alot for the 99+ PSDs. I think it all depends on what your current pressure is, too. Yes, it does increase the fuel pressure, and depending on what you start with, may or may not be significant or a noticeable performance improvement.
