Banks Transommand?

Banks Transommand?
Looking for info relating to putting a Banks Transcommand in my 05 F150 4x4 supercrew. Have the 5.4 motor, towing package w/3.55 limited slip and pull a 31', 7000# travel trailer. The trans slips a little from 1st to 2nd shifts away from lights.
Which trans does my truck have; E40D, or 4R100 or how do I tell and has anyone used this kit to improve towing performance?
This is my fourth Ford since 77, had two chevys in between(oops) and is the best truck I've owned to date.

Your truck has the 4R75W.
I would look into a tranny temp guage as well. You're well within towing capacity range but since you are on the higher side of it, a tranny temp guage can certainly prove invaluable to the longevity of your tranny.
You can firm up your shifts electronically with the Transcommand or aother tuner or you can do it mechanically (recommended) with a Diablo Shift Valve or Sonnex Shift Valve. All work well. I prefer mechanically.
Anyway...you probably knew all of that.

I have a 2004 5.4 screw, Auto ....Transmission????
