I'm rebuilding a '78 F250 Crewcab 4x4 that was dead in a field for 6 years. I've got a grip on most of it, but am looking for a source for rear springs for a lift that do not use blocks. Any info is appreciated.
hey there,
Well I'm not for certain if this is what you wanted to hear, but I have an old trick for you if you want to save some greenbacks. Go to your local welding and machine shop and see if they can make a helper spring for you. We done that on our old 1/2 tons and it's working good. Got six inches of lift from it too. Also we do it on our dumptrucks to give the front a lift and make it support weight better.tell em to make you an arch spring, get them to make it with some lenght too, longer is better, you'll have to do some measuring, but it's mighty cheaper friend
