Column Shift
Hey guys,
I'm new here.... first post as a matter of fact. Curious if anyone else has noticed that the column shift feels kinda weak... almost as if it doesn't want to slide into DRIVE or REVERSE... a little grindy feeling.
Just got my truck last week and I'm super stoked to be STROKED!!! The truck is bad *** and I can't stop looking at it. Is that wrong?

Welcome to the site and congrats on the truck. I'm still grinning and I have had my truck for sometime.
You might get an Oasis report from Ford on your truck if was bought used. Some years had a steering wheel TSB. If your truck is new warrenty will cover it or it could be someone tried to punch the lock on a previous owner and the column has been damaged.

thanks for the reply's guys.
i just upgraded from an F150 to the F350, and I guess I wasn't manning up with the switch. i pulled it closer and no worries.
i just cleaned it again.... it was already pretty clean. i thought i was bad when i had my F150. my wife's eyes are gonna get stuck soon with all the rolling of em.
