need photos from cowl section

hi, i am mocking up the front sheet metal after installing a volare type front end . the reason i would like the photos is the after market fenders i bought will not line up with the lower section of the front cowl. did anyone else have this problem ? i installed new lower cowl patch panels and they have the pinch weld all the way to the end and the new fenders will not fit unless i modify the fenders ( only as a last resort) or trim the pinch weld area which is the way i am planning on going. any thoughts ? thanks

If your talking about the weld flange at the very bottom of the patch (the one that is horizontal) yes I had to trim it (the flange not the fenders) so the original front fenders would fit.

thanks

yes the flange that is horizontal is the one i am having the problem with . i was going to trim the flange to make the fenders fit . i really did not want to mess with the fenders any more than i really had too . nice repops but kinda of pricy when the shipping is added in . thanks again . i have never met you, but i can always count on you for an honest opinion.
