When I turn on the right turn signal it flashes but not on the dash.
When I turn on the head lights the turn signal on the dash lights.
Any help on where to start looking.
Left side works fine.
Thanks in advance.
Just,
You are describing a short circuit. That is, you do not have power to ground.
This could be several things:
1. Bulb is burned out.
2. Bulb socket is worn out.
3. Ground for circuit is bad/dirty/corroded.
This could be the front or rear on the side of concern.
Replace both the socket, the bulb, and clean the ground connection. I find that this repair is simple, when all three problems are attacked at once. That way you don't have to do it again next week.
The socket wears out due to vibration and can no longer make contact with the bulb. If you push down on the bulb and it lights then its the socket. Don't waste your time screwing with it just replace it.

i had the same problem just recently - i changed the bulb and, then changed the light socket and that fixed the problem. the light socket contacts were pretty rusty and probably making no contact. when you're replacing the bulbs - check the sockets.
i had this problem when i replaced my bed. i found it was because the rear turn signals werent grounded and i had to clean a spot for the be to contact the frame. it fixed my problem
