I posted here yesterday about a `78 F250 crewcab 4x4 I found at a dealer in my area, and I never received any responses. I tried to find my post today, and it's gone. What happened?
I wasn't trying to sell it, I just thought that somebody here would be interested in calling the dealer and getting some more info. I had nothing to gain, personally, from the sale of the truck. I'm just a huge fan of old crew cabs, and thought it would be nice if a true Ford enthusiast bought it.
If it is taboo to let other Ford enthusiasts know about a good deal on a rare truck, then I must have missed that in the sign-up agreement.
If it looked like an ad to the moderator then it was probably removed. Ads should be kept in the classifieds section of the site because I'm sure the owner of the truck doesn't wanted to be contacted six months from now (the classifieds expire automatically, message board postings don't).
