2005 interior vs before

I was wondering if someone could tell me the interchangability between dash and interior parts between 2000 and 2005. I am converting my 2000 drivetrain to a 2005 6.0/auto and was wondering what is different between the two inside the cab such as: steering column, door panels radio, dash and bezels for dash ac/heater controls, headlite switch, gauge cluster etc. Specifically, can I install the 2005 inside dash wiring harness to my 2000 dash and install and fit the 2005 steering column gauge cluster and other things mentioned without changing the whole dash itself.
Thanx Nick

Your probably right but im a gluttun for punishment.Especialy when you think I already have a 7.3. But I got the infamous "good deal" on the 6.0 and my 7.3 and six speed are completely worn out(massive blowby and jumping out of gear) In the end we'll just see how much punishment I can stand.Mybe I have amnesia because I have been doing drivetrain swaps for all my wrenchable life so this is nothing new,but usu I like to get the complete doner vehicle and not have to hunt down parts. Anyways I found a guy who has all the wiring for a 2005 he says from front to back and the 6.0 engine and transmission computers steeering colmn gauge cluster and prob more. and I already have the 6.0 and transmission with the intercooler radiator exhaust and various hoses etc. For one I dont know if I will have to loose my complete dash or if I can install the 2005 stuff into it such as the gauge cluster ac controls. Also Im not sure if there are any other computers in 2005 that for examble control the body functions.I know about the air bag module and the ABS module glow pug controller and the engine/trans computers but are there more? Also does the 7.3 and the 6.0 use the same low pressure frame mounted fuel pump? If there is too much stuf changed in 2005 I could use 03 or 04 6.0 wiring, but I like the new dash stuff the 05 has. If anyone knows some or all of this I would appreciate the comments.Snide comments are welcome as well as I prob deserve them.

I really wanted to do the same to my 99 but ended up trading it in on an 05. I hope it works out well. Keep us up to date on your progress.

If there is anything I can answer about the 05 (without having to disassemble mine) let me know.

Thanx for the input and I will update my results. Maybe I should just get a new truck but I really like my current 2000 f550 4x4 and being that it has almost 300 k on it and its a regular cab and it needs a new motor and tranny work,I would have to sell it real cheap and I dont want to do that and then have to pay 30 or 40k for a new one.Plus thats too easy and sensible for me!!!
