The short answer: if it's an automatic or you have a floor shift, a Ford steering box will work if you shorten the column. The only bolt-in is a Bendix box, which is pretty rare, and they have a reputation for being unreliable.
If you have a 3 spd column shift, the answer is no.
I would not use it, if it does have ps it will be the Bendix gear. For my use, I would get a Ford/Saganaw gear from a 73-79. I would also buy a donor and grab the power disc brakes as well.
