random misfire

I have a 93 f-150 302, i have a random misfire under load. I have changed plugs, wires, cap, rotar,PCV valve and fuel filter and it still persists. I am curious to see if anyone has any more insight for me.

Make sure your 7 and 8 plug wires are separated. I used to have that problem on my '92 with the 302 and changed the plug, wires, cap, and rotor, and still had the random misfire under load going up hill. After reading these forums I discovered that the number 7 and 8 spark plug wires have a tendancy to crossfire, and once I pulled them out of the spark plug wiring harness, and put a little distance between them all is OK now.

Hope that helps,
Eric.
