won't start
I have a 1977 f 250 camper special 4x4. I just changed the transmission fluid the other day ajusted the transmission bands to spec. dorve it and it drove fine, came home parked it and now it won start. battries are good, starter is good, selinoid is good. you turn the key and everything comes on. but will not start, no clicking sound no nothing. any ideas

ok well i have had his hapen before all you gotta do is rock it or just shift it into Reverse and then put it back in park and it should turn over. its normal it hapens the starter gear just isn't lined up right in the flywheel or basicall the teeth are out of place

I had a 74 F350 supercab that I also had to shift to Reverse and then back to Park before it would start. I remember many Fords in the 70s (trucks and autos) with a few miles on them had this same problem.
