Cabin Air Filter?

Did the 97 Ranger have a Cabin Air Filter option? If so, where would I access it? If mine didn't come with the filter option, can I retrofit it like some other Ford products?

Rangers don't have them, I'm not sure if you can add one.

I would check with the guys in the Explorer forum, if they had them then it should be pretty easy since both trucks have a lot in common.
