Marinco Block heater mod
Hi all. I just did the $5 high idle switch mod that is in the tech folder. Excellent mod ,Thank You.
My next mod is going to be installing the Marinco plug for the block heater . I've seen it done under the front bumper. It looks very clean, as if it were factory. Has anyone wired it to the rear bumper? Any pics? I ask this because I prefer to back into my driveway in front of my garage(which there is a 0% chance of fitting an F350 long bed in). It would be nice to just use a couple of feet of extension cord and plug it in at the rear of the truck instead of dragging the cord around the front every night. Also if this is possible what type of cord should I use to wire the the plug from the front to the rear of the truck?
With any luck my Marinco plug will be in by the weekend and I can get started on this mod.
