Has anyone purchased a Q logic box for the Superdutys? Im tempted to buy one for my 05 F-350. Its the model where it pretty much adds a rear center console. If anyone has one or has heard one, id like to hear the feedback. Thanks
I have one on my '00 and LOVE it, sounds incredible. The speaker faces the floor so it's out of harms way and the cupholders do come in handy (and with enough bass, will mix your drink for you). Nobody ever realizes it's a speaker box either, matches the interior and looks like it's from the factory. Not to mention the fact that my gf's kids walk all over it getting in the truck (sometimes with cleats from football), so needless to say it's VERY durable. I have a JL Audio 10" in mine with a PPI Ax606.2 amp pushing it. I bought mine from Crutchfield from their "scratch and dent" section. It had a few chips on it but they were in spots where you don't even see the box. If you look in my gallery under "misc pics", you'll see a few of my amp and how it's mounted. I think you can see a bit of the box in one pic but am not sure. If you want more pics, let me know and I'll go snap a few.
I picked up my box today, i had a hard time getting a 10" sub that would fit perect because i tryed a Rockford P3, Hx2 and a He2, none of them fit for depth. I finally got a Type R in there and it sounds good, but im going to get a Kicker comp VR because they push more power and dont need much space., just got to figure out what is going on with my amp, it keeps clipping on me, i gota take a look 2marow, but it def is a good investment for a simple box.
Yeah, you definitely need a sub that doesn't require much air space since the inside volume of that box is only .65 cubic feet. Hope you get the amp figured out, that's frustrating when you want it all to work flawlessly and it doesn't. I've been there many times!
