frame widths

I just picked up a Econoline 150 for $100. It has a nine inch rear end and some other good parts. Are the frames on the trucks and vans the same width so most parts like the rear axle are interchangeable?

I believe vans and pick ups are different. The pumpkin might be the same but I doubt the housing is.

I've been through with with truck rear ends.

The truck housings are narrower, both drum-to-drum and on the spring perches. I think its 2" difference on the springs and 3" on the housing.
