I have a 2002 F350 Lariat LE and theres a computer built into the roof of the interior which tells you how many miles you have to go until your tank is empty, well the other day it had read 150 miles till empty, and then the following morning it read 50 miles till empty and it wont go back to what its suppose to read, why is this happening and is there a quick fix for this?

Hold both buttons down at the same time. This will reset the trip computer. But I warn you......don't depend on that thing to be accurate......you might be walking when it says you have 25 miles to go. Just use it as a rough estimate. Around this forum......they refer to it as the "lieometer". Just a caveat. And if in the future you decide to chip the truck......the milage goes right out the window.....no correlation whatsoever as to the actuals. So now I only use mine for outside temp, and direction.
Yep, what Touchofgrey said. You do have to be in the mileage mode for it to clear. If that doesn't work, just try it in all modes. It is not very accurate, but for it to be at all close, you should be resetting it with every fillup.
