Hey Chief, I was just joking about the Snap-on tools from the Coast Gaurd. Besides I was a ERRrrrrrrrrr, Radio Man. we never used tools.
Jack.
Ssssok Alsair! No offense taken! And to be perfectly honest, the only tools I used was cornbread from the galley to plug up the Engineers and Radioman's head phones!! Well...........That and dropping wire nuts through the scuttle, and..........Filling the XO's stateroom vents with marbles..............and............as the ship's Master At Arms, to lucky-bag the junior officer's Staterooms...........oh, I almost forgot, kidnapping the Engineering Officer's ball cap and holding it for ransom........ Jeese! Maybe I ought to stop there before my old skipper, Admiral Thad Allen finds out. He would probably recall me to active duty and make me interface with FEMA.......
Shhhhh. Don't tell him that it was me and the Electrician Chief that borrowed the Zodiak boat and painted oranges, lemons and limes on the side of a Navy Minesweepers!!!!!!!! He was mad as hell - at first, then when we got underway - laughed his *** off at the 3 foot fruits....
Actually, there is one other thing...I'm really ashamed to admit it and I've never told this to anyone before, but it's time to come clean and let the chips fall where they may. I've carried this on my conscience way too long. (sigh)
Okay, here it is: once many years ago, I (gasp!) tore the tag off a mattress!
Okay! There, it's out in the open now, I freely admit it! I don't know what the statute of limitations is on such a heinous crime, but I'm ready to accept my punishment. Yes, I was throwing said mattress away at the time, but I realize now the seriousness of my offence. I am truly sorry to have commited such a foul deed, and will never stoop so low again. (Whew! Glad to get that off my chest!)
I once rode my bicycle with no helmet.... riding while standing on the seat... with one foot!!! Man I'm bad. Just given in to wickedness in a regular way.
When I was 15, me and a friend would go to the train station and take off the chains on the parked motorcycles and bicycles. We would either just take it off and put it on the ground, or we'll just take them to a far away place and hide it.
Stuff I got caught for... Speeding, the occasional Parking Ticket, took down someone's ham radio antenna we didn't like (a friend and I did it). We were 15 at the time.

Ahh, the good old days...I smashed my face up real good with that trick. My neighbor was a BMXer and used to do all kinds of stuff in the street...then I'd try. I kept Band-Aid in business for years.
I also once plastered a 5 story obscenity on our college dorm. We were there for only 3 nights before we did it...one letter on each floor, starting from the 15th and going down. The last letter was a U and you could see it from up to a mile away...in Center City, Philadelphia. I was a punk as a kid, and only got worse until I almost landed my **** in the Marines for a stunt I pulled. Like I said, that one...you'd better bring your wallet to the bar to get me to leak that story. Never did anything to hurt anyone physically, but we sure p'd a lot off.
Drunk driving, never got caught or in an accident, luckily!
Underage consumption, back in a day, I'm 25 now
Illegal transportation of a firearm, many times, yet to get caught
Carrying a loaded weapon in a truck or a concealed weapon onmy person, it ain't legal in IL, yet, you don't know if or when I have it either!
Speeding, I'm a meany! been caught several times
FIRE, nough said about fire. that whole statute of limitations thing
statute of limitations again, TIMES 9
Did I ever tell yall that I stole a towel from the Holiday Inn once?
Smuggling beer across the state line, again the statute of limitations thing!
And there are plenty more I still cannot tell, especially on the internet, on a publicly accessable site. But boy I sure wish I could!
