Most aftermarket versions are like $350!!!
Seems there are some rebuilt factory ones, and you could buy the timing tape and glue it on.
I would just get a "speedie" sleeve on the spacer and repair yours. Been there, works great. Put a new timing seal in too and it should be nice and dry again for 100K miles.
You know that they are two separate pieces right? (just checking)
Dennis at DSC sells a nice selection of aftermarket balancers starting at $60 and up. You can always pickup a good Ford one on ebay for like $20 also. The 428CJ C8AE-A1 and A2's are pretty common. Just be sure the rubber is in really good shape if you go used. G.
I think I may go the stock route with a timing tape on it, but I like that $75 underpully at DSC. My 390 was out of a 69 Galaxy and has 3 grooves. I only need one and my motor idles high cause of my cam anyway.
LOL!! ya, sometimes I wonder?? It's really looking 100 yrs old now, with the numbers getting very hard to read since the clearcoat is flaking off
Like usual, I pay top dollar..........then everyone comes out with one and they are dirt cheap
Buddy bought a Fluiddamper wayyyy back(early 90's) and paid BIGGGGG money for it. Back when they were the "only game in town". Now everyone stays away from Fluiddamper.
