Chips and programmers
Hello, I just purchased a 04 f-250 with the 6.0 power stroke. I’ve had a V-10 for some time and decided the diesel was the way I wanted to go. My question is, I have had everyone and there mother tell me what chip or programmer to use but know one has said the same thing, so it have left me wandering what is the best for me and my 6.0? I drive 4,000 miles a month never tow but do go on road trips. What do you guys recommend?

I would suggest driving it a while first. Get a baseline to go from so you know how each change impacts power, drive, mpg, etc.
As for tuners... I am looking at the Diablo Preadtor for my truck, after I put in an upgraded exaust and some gauges.

I have the Superchip micro tuner. Very easy to use, tons of power. I really love the look on peoples faces (any body that thinks they have a race car) when I leave them in a cloud of black smoke. 
No other mods made. In highperformance setting I have gotten 18 mpg, but I really had to control myself.
