Alternator Help

I have a factory alternator with all new components, and a battery that wont charge... anyone got any ideas as to why? I've burned up at least 5 alternators, and the problem still wont go away. plz someone shed some light on this matter.

you probably have a dead cell in your battery. that would cause it not to take a charge. if I was you I would put a new battery on it. gl

What are voltmeter readings at the battery with the engine off, and with the engine running? Is the alternator light on in the dash when it fails?

I don't know what year you have, but most alternators have a fusible link on the output wire going to the starter relay. Follow the large black/orange wire up the harness, and somewhere along the way you will see a rubber thing in the wire. This is the fusible link, and it may be burnt out.
