alternator problems
does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for a 82 f-150.
I pulled a 302 out of the f-150 and put it in a 67 mustang and I am changing the mustang to the elec. ignition from the f-150. The mustang has wires all over the place that have been spliced in and I dont know what goes where.

Here's a diagram for a system with an idiot light in the dash, which I am assuming is what your mustang had. The original mustang wiring should be very close to this diagram.
The truck more than likely had an ammeter, and the alt wiring is a little bit different. If you do not want to use the idiot light, there is another diagram for that.
