WHEELBASE QUESTION

I have a 1979 long bed F-350 4x4 and would like to put an extended cab and short bed on it.Will this work and does anyone have a picture of a truck done this way?

i have heard it can be done but the frame will be to short if i remember correctly.do a search i know it has been talked about before

A reg. cab long box has a 133" WB and a supercab short box has a 139" WB .

I had a truck that was done like that, a 74 f-250 4x4, I loved it, wish I still had it. I had a custom stake bed on it, was one tough truck.

WHEELBASE QUESTION

I am doing something similar. I am putting a crew cab,cab, and a shortbed on the supercab 4x4 longbox frame. I will have to have 4-5 inches taken out of the frame.

should be cool.
