With the tragedy in the deep south...We still need to remember what happened on 9/11. The terrorists are hoping we will drop our guard during this time of crisis. I say to them...

Thanks man, from a firefighter. I still get the lump in the throat when I think about 9/11. My buddy leaves for the Air Force tomarrow. He'll make us proud to be Americans.

I had no one that I knew in the 9/11 attacks. But my heart and Prayers went at to all of those who were in it and helped out with it. They still do. My sadness and anger of that event was replaced however on November 6, 2003. That was when those COWARDS took my nephew away from our family. I now know what it is to lose someone to 9/11.
I still Pray for our Troops, their families and our President. I may not be happy or like the fact that we are still over there. But the more people who keep blameing the President for what is going on. The more those cowards win. Those are the ones who cause the seperation of us that open up the gap in which the wedge can be driven. We need to come together as a Nation.
Even if you don't like the President, and many don't. At least support the Troops for what they are doing and have done. From what I have read here, I don't think that there are any here that don't support our Troop's. But there are still many who don't.
Some of you know I help admin a pc gaming site called "Runegame.com". Their ages span from early teens up and way over. Gamers from all over the globe came in to vent their outrage and give their support to America. We learned a few American players were affected directly and there were anxious times when they tried to find any information concerning family members. The outpouring of concern and mental help was enormous. Those who lived in the New York City area really appreciated all this.
Yes, there was tragedy. One New York gamer lost a close cousin with the Port Authority there. Another's brother was slated to help with some school kids on a visit to the second tower. It was cancelled at the last moment. Another's father was staying at the #7 Tower while on business and was to attend a business meeting. His son was really frantic trying to get any word. Turned out his father was at a meeting held elsewhere when the planes crashed.
Since then, a few did join the military afterwards. Two I know are still in Iraq.
