Exclamation Sealant

Has anyone had any luck using anytype of sealant that goes into the radiator to seal a head gasket leak, and if so, what brand or type of sealant did you use??? I know this would only be a temporary fix. Thanks in advnace for any help and info.

I have used ALUMASEAL ( I think thats the name) to seal radiator leaks. It comes in a little bottle similar in size to a roll of dimes. It is clear plastic tube and you have to shake the daylights out of it before putting it in. It supposedly only dries and seals when it gets in contact with air. Now, as for a head gasket leak, I've never tried it.

Good luck.

i have used blue devel on over 10 cars and trucks, ford and chevy, with blown head gaskets, and the gm 3.8 intake gaskets. i have also used it on a mack diesel with a cracked head.this stuff has done a permanant fix on all but one, a 3.8 ford that was pushing 2 gallons of water out the exhaust. i did not even bother with that one. it is hands down the absolute best thing on the market IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. the only bad thing is the cost; $60 per quart. you can do 2 cars with a quart, or 1 truck.
