what is one thing you would like to have in your truck?[I know a full tank]. what I would like to have is a foot control head light dimmer switch. you know like the ones on the older cars and trucks mounted on the floor so you don't have to keep moving your hand to the steering wheel to dim the lights. what would YOU like?
those switches for adding on aux lights and other upgrades is cool. the superduties come with that. and a 6 speed automatic would be nice.
i would settle for a little better ground clearance on the 4x4s with some meatier tires though. oh and those huge power rear windows like the tundras and 4runners.
500 hp, 1000 ft lbs from idle to redline on 87 pump gas, 50 mpg, 200000 mile bumper to bumper warantee, selectable lockers front and rear, tires that dont wear out, solid front axle that rides like ifs, hmmmmmm....
A beefier stance on the 4x4. A windshield wiper that went all the way to the end of the glass, not 4" from it.
pull the drivers wiper. I assume this is the one you are speaking of. flip it over and remove the large key in the splines then reinstall at any angle you want. The splines alone will hold it as this is all that is on most vehicles!!!
A 5 speed auto tranny would be nice. Most of the other truck manufacturers now have a 5 speed auto tranny offered in their trucks. It's about time Ford got on board.
A 5 speed manual coupled with the 5.4 engine would be even better. I don't understand why you can get an F250 5.4 liter with a manual tranny, but you can't get an F150 5.4 with a manual tranny.
A floor mounted headlight switch.
Instead of turning a key, I want buttons to start it, like Race cars have!
A deisel motor in the F-150, that gets about 40 mpg and pulls the truck at 65 mph efficiently!
Get rid of the Hankook tires that are paper thin and put some real tires for a truck on these things, Firestone Steltex AT's would be great. a buddyof mine has those on his Superduty F-250 and has yet to have a flat on rock roads, he only drives it on rock roads when he goes from farm to farm checking his crops. Rarely ever gets it on pavement. My Hankooks are getting replaced by BFG AT's.
The same coating that stealth bombers get so they are radar proof would be nice, no more speeding tickets!
